Depart from your accommodation around 8 AM. Here are your travel options:

1. Easiest way: Take a taxi—simply mark Wat Kalayanamit as your destination.

2. A bit more adventurous way:

o Take the Chao Phraya Express Boat from any pier convenient for you.

o Get off at Rajini Pier (Pak Khlong Talad).

o Then, take a cross-river ferry from Rajini Pier to Wat Kalayanamit Pie

Their signature dish? Khanom Jeen Portuguese—a unique noodle dish you won’t find anywhere else in Bangkok, except in this historic community. The drinks and desserts are equally delightful (don’t let the simple decor fool you—everything is unexpectedly delicious).

A word of warning: You’ll want to order seconds, but save room! There are more culinary gems to explore for lunch in this neighborhood.
